Worthington Kitchen and First Floor Remodel

Our homeowner wanted a light and more modern kitchen and once we started discussing options, we realized we could update her entire first floor to truly transform her home. The kitchen contained an awkward angled wall which impeded the flow into the living room. By redesigning the layout of the kitchen, we were able to give her more storage and better sight lines. Straightening the center island gave her a better workflow and allowed for better walkways through
the home.

Her desk area had previously been located near the garage entry, but she wanted to use an area in the kitchen to have her workspace while utilizing new windows that were added. Her favorite area of the home, the sitting area, also got an upgrade with a custom coffee bar. Now she and her sister can enjoy their morning coffee without having to go far for refills.

New oak hardwood flooring was added throughout, additional cabinetry was added near the garage entry and more cabinetry was added to the laundry room. The showstopper of the entire home is the new stacked stone fireplace that is now easily seen from almost anywhere while on the first floor.
