The steller team with the a kid again family

July 31, 2023, marked a day of camaraderie, compassion, and a shared commitment to making a difference. We were thrilled to once again join forces with the incredible Fentron team for our annual charity golf outing, held at the picturesque backdrop of The Lakes Golf & Country Club. This special event was dedicated to supporting the remarkable mission of A Kid Again, and we couldn’t be prouder of the heartwarming success we achieved together.

With the perfect weather day, we welcomed 120 dedicated golfers and 16 enthusiastic bocce participants. The day unfolded with a symphony of laughter, friendly competition, and the joy of knowing that every swing, every putt, and every bocce toss was contributing to a cause that truly matters.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to A Kid Again participant Blake and his mom, Megan, who graced us with their presence and shared their touching story. Blake, a true dynamo, showcased his wheelie skills and displayed an uncanny knack for bocce. His infectious spirit and boundless enthusiasm reminded everyone present of the profound impact A Kid Again has on families.

Participants enjoyed ample opportunities to support A Kid Again with fun golf games such as “Hit the Green”, “Longest Drive”, and our Hole in One contest to try to win a new Lexus! We also had a 50/50 raffle and fun prizes and goodies for all. The eventful day concluded at the 19^th Hole where everyone enjoyed appetizers, refreshments, and a chance to socialize with one another.

We are proud to announce that we raised more than $27,000 for A Kid Again!

In the United States alone, 500,000 kids are battling a life-threatening illness. At any point in time, 5,000 children are living in the last 6 months of their lives. A Kid Again provides monthly Adventures full of smiles and memories for these families – a chance to spend time away from the hospital, to forget about being sick, & just be A KID AGAIN.
