Want to learn about the 2023 Remodeling Trends for your home? Our team had a blast attending the National Kitchen & Bath Show this month to gather ideas, meet suppliers and see the newest design trends. Our goal is to always bring the latest and greatest designs to our customers so that you can rest assured that your newly remodeled space will make you feel delighted every time you walk into it!
Here are some of the top design trends we noticed at the show:

COLORS
Many of the colors focus on coastal blues, greens and organic neutrals along with black. Also, there is less gray and white with a move towards mixing warmer natural earth tones and pastels.
Multiple design elements and materials are being combined with bold accents, splashes of color and textures. We saw an abundant display of colors in appliances, sinks, plumbing fixtures and even toilets!
If a colorful toilet is too bold for you, then it’s always easy to incorporate bold colorful accents through wallpaper, backsplashes, and artwork!
MIXED METALS

Mixed metals faucets
Using different metals in your designs will become more mainstream. You can pair a gold faucet with a black mirror and a two-toned vanity light. There are a lot of new options of mixed metals in kitchen faucets as well. We saw many kitchen faucets that were mixed such as black and chrome or white and gold.
Cabinet hardware has come a long way over the last few years and there are so many options to choose from. Drawer pulls are more popular than knobs, but overall, you can find some really cool options that show off multiple types of finishes.
Also, more metallic sinks are popping up as options than just your typical porcelain sinks. We saw some gorgeous vessel sinks throughout the show!
TECHNOLOGY
Suppliers are creating more options to make your life easier by incorporating technology. Creating individualized customization in rooms such as the bath will continue to grow in popularity. Imagine having a preset shower setting so that you can instantly get the shower experience you crave each morning with your multiple shower heads. Steam showers are also growing in popularity.
Smart appliances in the kitchen will make cooking easier for busy families when you use an app from your phone. And touchless faucets options continue to expand.
Whole home technology systems that can control lighting, sound, blinds, cameras and more will bring all controls into one easy-to-use system.

SUSTAINABILITY & ECO-FRIENDLY
The options for LED lights, energy-efficient appliances and smart faucets will continue to expand. Consumers are always looking for ways to decrease their energy uses and our team loves incorporating these energy-saving technologies during our remodeling process.
Other Takeaways from the KBIS Show
Porcelain countertops and wall cladding will grow in popularity. More people will want to build workstations into their kitchens and bar sinks. Vessel sinks are making a come back and are featuring fun colors, textures, and shapes. Floor tiles are featuring an abundance of colors and designs and there are new creative ways to install them throughout your home.
Our team also attended the Builders FirstSource 2023 National Event in January, which is one of the biggest shows for residential contractors. At the show, we increased our contacts to many suppliers and vendors in the contracting industry. When we have more options for our customers, we can be more competitive on pricing and of course have expanded options for our various types of residential and commercial projects that we complete annually.
